Especially for applications in the area of interpolating axes, Rexroth offers the communication version via SERCOS interface. In this connection, the control cyclically transmits the position command values via SERCOS interface and the HNC100® series 3X closes the position control circuit.
Thus, Rexroth completes the continuous, scalable CNC control concept IndraMotion MTX for both, electrical and hydraulic interpolating axes.
The modular, innovative IndraWorks engineering environment provides the user with all essential software tools in a uniform look and feel for the commissioning, parameterization and diagnosis of the electric and hydraulic drives and the controls.

Functionality:
- Via SERCOS interface, the command values are cyclically (in the range 1-64 ms) forwarded to the HNC100®-3X.
- The HNC100®-3X works exclusively as controller for an electrohydraulic axis. The NC functionality is omitted.
- A special control algorithm provides for highest path accuracy
As superordinate CNC control, you can basically use all systems satisfying the conformity class B according to SERCOS interface specification.
